Welcome to Project VJ.
This blog is expected to have a grand total of exactly 100 posts, the subject of which is other blogs I have created.
It is in response to a bet, with my dear friend Valancy Jane. That is why it is called Project VJ.
The terms are as follows:
- I must create 100 new blogs.
- I will have to have posted a minimum of once to each blog.
- The posts must be topical. This blog, and this blog post, counts.
- This will all have to occur by January 1st, 2009.
- This means I have 7 months.
If I succeed, VJ will do something for me, which is as yet undetermined. But she seems happy to keep it open-ended, and I am reasonable, so I may just ask her to design a teleporter or visit me in Canada or something. She keeps mentioning nude photos. We’ll see.
I plan on being extremely creative. Each blog I create will be rigorous, if brief. They will all have different templates, different tones, different subject matters and different target audiences.
I think this will be a study in blogging.

I’ve only created 44 blogs, and so have pushed the date back to mid-August, 2009. I think it will be more interesting if I concentrate on blog ideas rather than deadline, wouldn’t you agree? Enjoy the extension of the project!
